That's why we built My Caddie.

What Is My Caddie?

My Caddie is your personal course strategy notebook, built right into Buddies on the Green. It automatically captures what you do on every hole — club selection, approach club, shot shape, lie type, and your personal notes — and organizes it by course and hole number. Over time, it builds a complete picture of how you play each hole so you're never guessing again.

Think of it as a quiet caddie who remembers everything. It doesn't tell you what to do — it reminds you what's worked before and what hasn't.

How It Works

Automatic Entry Creation

When you finish a round and your scores are saved, My Caddie automatically syncs your hole-by-hole data into your course book. Every hole where you recorded a club, note, or shot detail becomes a new entry. No extra steps, no manual data entry — just play your round and the caddie takes notes for you.

Available During Your Round

While you're scoring a round, My Caddie appears as a compact card on each hole. If you have previous entries for that hole, they show up automatically. You'll see your most recent entry first — what club you hit, what shape you played, and any notes you left for yourself. It's the kind of quick glance that can save you a stroke.

My Tendencies

Once you have two or more entries on a hole, My Caddie starts computing your tendencies — and this is where it gets really useful:

• Most Used Club — See which club you reach for most often on that tee. If you've hit Driver 3 out of 4 times, that's a strong signal it's the right play.
• Fairway Hit % — Know your accuracy off the tee. If you're only finding the fairway 25% of the time, maybe it's time to club down.
• Green in Regulation % — Track how often you're hitting the green in regulation. Low GIR on a specific hole might mean the approach club isn't working.
• Average Putts — See your putting average for that green. Some greens are just harder than others.
• Miss Tendency — If your miss is consistently right, you'll see it. "Miss: Right (3x)" tells you to aim left next time.

All of this is computed from data you've already captured — no extra tracking, no wearable devices, no shot-tracking hardware. Just your scores and notes, turned into strategy.

The Course Detail Page

Outside of active rounds, you can access My Caddie from any course in "My Courses." The detail page shows every hole with its entries, tendencies, and your personal notes. You can expand any hole to see the full history — every round you've played there, what clubs you hit, and how it went.

You can also manually add or edit entries, delete old ones, and import data from past rounds that were played before My Caddie launched.

Why This Matters

Course management is the most underrated skill in golf. Tour caddies spend hours studying yardage books, tracking pin positions, and logging how their player performs on specific holes. Recreational golfers have never had access to that kind of structured memory — until now.

My Caddie doesn't try to be a swing coach or a GPS rangefinder. It's simpler than that. It remembers what you did, when you did it, and how it turned out. Over a season of rounds at your home course, you'll have a personal strategy guide that no one else has — because it's built entirely from your game.

Getting Started

My Caddie is available now for all Buddies on the Green users. Here's how to start building your course book:

1. Play a round and use the scoring feature as you normally do.
2. Add details — tap the My Caddie section on any hole to record your club, shot shape, and notes.
3. Finish and save — your entries are automatically synced to your course book.
4. Come back next time — your caddie will be waiting with everything you need to know.

The more rounds you play, the smarter your caddie gets. After 3-4 rounds at the same course, you'll have real tendency data that can genuinely inform your club selection and strategy.
